Below you will find a list of Unit Plans and Lesson Plans reflective of both my work as a Student Teacher and as a candidate for UCI's Master of Arts in Teaching Program

Sample Lesson Plan 1 (Long Form Format):

Evolution By Natural Selection Day 1

This lesson plan follows the first day of a multi day unit covering the concept of evolution by natural selection. Here students are being introduced to the anchoring phenomenon as well as participating in an activity designed to walk students through how the helpfulness of adaptations is dependent on the environment.

Sample Lesson plan 2 (Short Form Format):

Carrying Capacity Lab

This lesson follows a virtual lab where students will explore what resources they use on a daily basis. They will analyze their ecological footprint and compare it with that of the rest of the Earth's population to understand the concept of limiting resources and apply to their knowledge of carrying capacity
